Giuliana & Bill Rancic: Having A Baby Is In The Back Of My Mind
Giuliana and Bill Rancic talk candidly about trying for a baby.
Giuliana and Bill Rancic have been through it all when it comes to trying to conceive a child. They’ve done the fertility treatments, they’ve suffered a miscarriage, and now the couple have finally settled on enjoying their “year of fun” and not stressing about having a baby.
“[Having a baby is] always in the back of my mind,” Giuliana, 35, tells USA Today. “But we’re not actively trying.
“Right now is the year of fun,” the Giuliana & Bill star adds. “In the first episode, we’re talking about [having a baby], and we heard bad news. Bill’s like, ‘You know what? Let’s get back to who we are and have a year of fun.’”
And the couple is doing “all of the things we couldn’t do if we had a baby,” like “traveling” and “drinking lots of wine.”
And don’t worry. Giuliana has no regrets when it comes to sharing her personal struggles on television.
“This guy came up to me, and he was like, ‘Oh, I just want to thank you and your husband. You inspire my wife. She’s going through IVF, and we know we’re not alone,’” recalls Rancic. “It’s really nice [to inspire others],” she adds. “[And it's nice] that we can use our profiles to talk about it and make people feel better about themselves.”
