Did Victoria Beckham really spend about five thousand dollars on stretch mark cream?
Those pesky marks that appear as your skin stretches to accommodate the growth of that baby in your belly can be quite a eyesore to a new mom. If you happen to be as posh as Victoria Beckham, those stretch marks have probably become enemy number one. And apparently after the birth of Harper Seven Beckham, she is going to war. Big time.
Victoria’s body has carried four children, so there is – no doubt – battle scars from the changes that her thin frame has gone through. But she’s not going to let them win. It’s been reported that the new mom had 50 bottles of Rodial’s Stretch MX (retail cost $95 per 4.2 oz bottle) delivered to her Beverly Hills home. And she’s not the only celebrity mom who has reportedly used this elixir, other customers include, Kate Hudson, Natalie Portman and Jessica Alba. This is a departure from the Victoria’s claim she was using something much less expensive.
A spokesperson for the brand said –“ We were happy to meet Victoria’s requirements. Over 94% of women buying Stretch MX are using the product pre or post pregnancy – it is by far our best selling product for expecting mothers. The formulation has been clinically proven and scientifically designed to help women with stretch marks reducing the appearance within a very short time of usage.”
With fifty bottles of the stuff, is the claims are true, Victoria will be as good as new in no time!
