A Look Back: 11 Magical Moments from Harry Potter
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 comes out in theaters tomorrow. The first Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, came out nearly ten years ago.
I saw each of the Harry Potter movies in the theater, after reading the books, of course. I used the fact that I was a middle school teacher as my excuse to read the books and see the movies. And now I have a child who is anxious to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.
Before we get to see this final chapter to the Harry Potter story, let’s take a look back at some of the most memorable moments from the Harry Potter saga:

Getting the Elder Wand was secondary action after learning from Ollivander about the twin core of their wands. But if you recall from the books, it was always, “Horcruxes, not Hallows” for Voldemort! Also remember, he didn’t even know that the Slytherin ring stone was the Resurrection Stone. Had he known that, he wouldn’t have turned it into a Horcrux! I know this so well b/c we read the books to our son between the ages of four and seven! At the point that we read the final books, we were summarizing every paragraph as we read through it!
