Octomom Nadya Suleman Today show

Octomom Nadya Suleman had her eight kids on the Today show this morning… talk about an exhausting and chaotic interview!

Nadya Suleman’s eight kids (plus one of her older children, on hand to help wrangle) were running around the studio, with even Ann Curry scurrying behind them to keep them out of trouble.

Octomom talked about the daily struggle of being a mom to 14 kids, saying, “I don’t want any help,” adding, “I never wanted nannies.”

Suleman is a single mom to 14 kids, with the octuplets now 2-years-old and getting into everything… and potty training, too?

Raising that many kids by yourself isn’t easy, as Octomom comments, “I’m so happy…it’s harder, but I feel so much stronger.”

Nadya also addresses that In Touch magazine article, where she was quoted as saying she hates babies – not true, Suleman assures, “I never said one of those words” and she’s never considered suicide.

One of Suleman’s goals is to buy a new house (Today showed the heavy wear and tear on her house from all those kids, including holes in the walls!), saying, “I want to earn it. I want to work for it myself.”

To that end, Suleman is trying to earn money, having just secured “management” to help her secure paid gigs like boxing, appearances, and interviews.

Does Octomom have any “mother’s guilt,” Ann Curry asks? Suleman says she “can’t waste energy” worrying about “good or bad choices” and has to “accept the responsibility” of her choices.

As for her kids tearing up the Today show studio, Octomom assures that at home they “are incredibly behaved children,” blaming their behavior on just two hours of sleep.

No doubt, toddlers are curious and wrangling that many is no easy task, but I’m finding it hard to believe they are so incredibly behaved at home, given the mess that her house is!

Pretty shocking stuff, but is Suleman one the Worst Parents of the Decade?

If she doesn’t have “nannies” who watches them while she’s out and about?
Do they stay at home alone?

Oh, give me a break. Yet another softball interview where no one calls this parasite out on her lies.

YES, she has nannies. We saw one in the photos of her taking the kids to LAX.

YES, she has been on public assistance. Food stamps and SSI payments are public assistance. Student loans can also be considered a form of public assistance, especially when you use them for something other than education, like in vitro fertilization. Wonder if those loans will ever be paid back.

Denies the In Touch interview: In Touch stands by their story. I expect the reason Octomom isn’t suing is because they have her on tape. And then there are the magazine’s photos of the inside of the house. How did In Touch get those, exactly, if they didn’t do an interview?

The list goes on and on. She didn’t have plastic surgery (anyone with eyes can see the before-after difference)… she’s never dated… (she was married, how does that happen?)… she bought the La Habra house herself with her own money (turned out her dad bought it)… blah. blah. blah.

I felt bad for Ann Curry. What a ridiculous interview to have to conduct!

i dont understand why so many people hate her, meanwhile dont hate the duggers who live off of church donations and goverment grants to support there children and themselves, why they dont hate kate plus 8 or any other large familys is it so evil that she had children? i guess its evil for you too if you have more then one and are single. the duggers want to continue having children despite the health risks to the unborn and herself, the children raise each other not the parents is it because they are christian? , while at the very least i see nadia speak to her children not at them, i dont know whats true or not, because the media has twisted everything to bring attention to itself only thing i do know is what came strait from nadia. she loves her children, and she may not have delved into her past decisions because she doenst want to call her children a mistake, no child is a mistake. shes pretty sain to me . i dont know if shes on welfare or not, i dont know if her father baught her house or not all i know is what she said. she didnt bring the medias attention to her story someone else did. shes supporting and raising them on her own. how about instead of the name calling how about we celebrate she didnt do what casey anthony did to her single child, how about we celebrate and applaud her that she loves her children and decided to keep them.

Maybe I’m just strange, but I don’t think the kids were that bad. I mean, eight two-year-olds are hard to handle. They seemed pretty normal to me really. Anyway, who’s bright idea was it to have all eight kids there at the same time like that on set. What exactly did they think was going to happen? As far as the magazine goes, maybe she said it, maybe she didn’t, but I think alot of stars complain about things being taken out of context in interviews like that. Just my thoughts…

Interesting to me, Diana, that you believe everything she says but don’t believe Casey Anthony. Just an observation.

I watched the clip after reading the blog post. I have to say that all in all they weren’t that bad to be in a new environment without very many toys or snacks to distract them. We’ve all experienced our otherwise pretty good kids act a little nuts when out of their element. That’s why they invented goldfish! I still think it’s irresponsable to have had that many kids without a dedicated partner to help raise them. But, speaking specifically on them “tearing up the Today show”, I don’t think they did that bad.
