Many new moms, especially celebrity moms, worry about dropping weight as quickly as possible after they have a baby.

But Emily Procter isn’t too concerned.

“I think, ‘For who?’ Not for your child. Your child’s not looking at you and going, ‘Mmm, I love a clavicle. Let me nestle into that,’” the actress, 42, told WebMD.

How refreshing!

“If at six months I’m carrying a lot of extra weight, then I’m going to get drastic about it.”

Ah ok… but at least for now, Procter’s priority is her daughter, Philippa, who she had with boyfriend Paul Bryan.

Procter gained roughly 45 pounds during her pregnancy with “Pippa”.

“I’m going to let myself off the hook, because if there’s one thing that is not my focus at the moment, it’s how much I weigh,” she explains.

That’s right Emily!  Procter is treasuring these precious baby moments as her daughter is now six months old.

Procter is back on the set of CSI: Miami but with baby in tow.  The actress finds herself juggling shooting scenes and taking care of her baby in between takes.

“I was like, ‘People! I’ve got a baby to feed!’”

How is Procter enjoying motherhood? She still enjoys the little moments and already misses the earlier stages.

“When she started sleeping through the night — and I know there are people out there who are going to want to throttle me — I missed the quality time that the two of us had in the middle of the night,” she recalls. “I just felt like it was the two of us, alone in the world.”

I totally understand what Procter is saying!  I breastfed both of my kids and co-slept with them because it was easier and much more cuddly.

Now this is a woman to be proud of. That is Emily Procter, who is so amazing. You know where her priorities are. That is with her daughter, Pippa. Most women can learn a few lesson from such an extradinary woman. Beside being an. Extradinary person. She is a humanitarian and an amazing. Mother. She is beautiful, inside and out.
