Pink: Why She Named Her Baby Willow, Parenthood, and Taking Baby on Tour
Pink talks about baby Willow!
Pink is showing off baby Willow in a new photo for People magazine, as well as dishing on parenthood in the latest issue of People.
First up, why did Pink name her baby Willow? Besides just being a pretty and cool girl’s name, Pink shares that it’s her “favorite tree” because it “can bend and withstand anything.”
Pink also shares that she planned to have a home birth, but baby Willow was positioned in such a way that it was impossible and Pink had to have a C-section. Pink says, “Turns out this little girl at other plans. She is my daughter after all.”
Pink also gushes about new daddy Carey Hart, saying,“I knew when I met him he’d be a great father, but watching him nurture her, I’ve never been so in love in my life.”
Awww.
Of course, in true Pink fashion, she lightens the sentiment with a little humor, saying, “Carey is a natural. He calms her down like only my boob can.”
Pink is loving motherhood, noting how “life changes drastically” once a baby enters your life, but says, “You can’t possibly grasp how beautiful [life] is until you have your child. I could sit and watch paint try as long as she was in my arms.”
As for how baby Willow will factor into Pink and Carey’s career plans, the couple plan to take her on tour with them. Lucky baby!
