Angelina Jolie is more than a famous actress and one of the world’s most beautiful people. She is also the goodwill ambassador for United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, UNHCR, and recently traveled to the Italian island of Lampedusa to thank residents for hosting North African refugees. The refugees recently fled unrest in Northern Africa.
Mom of six, Jolie traveled with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Anotnio Guterres to the Mediterranean island. On Friday, Jolie visited a camp in Turkey where Syrian refugees are camped after fleeing their government’s crackdown on pro-democracy demonstrators.
