Did Kate Gosselin Slam Jon Gosselin in Father’s Day Tweet?
Kate Gosselin likes to get her digs in on ex-husband Jon whenever she can, but is her latest Father’s Day tweet a slam on Jon?
Seems some Kate fans were wishing her a Happy Father’s Day on Twitter because single parents often take on both the mother and father role.
Kate was happy for the recognition, but seemed to get a dig in too, tweeting: “So happy and was literally moved to tears to see some of my tweeties wishing ME a happy fathers day– do feel like both. So hard!”
One Twitter follower called Gosselin out on it, tweeting: “Shame Kate, that’s really playing dirty–Jon is their father and they all love him – probably more than they love you!!!”
Ouch.
Another tweeter noted, “Wrong Kate. The kids DO have a father. Jon. Not you.”
Kate also tweeted: “Sometimes I have my doubts but mostly I know it’s true. I have to be strong for my kids, or who will?”
Did Kate Gosselin slam Jon in these tweets? Maybe. But while I’m no fan of Kate or her show (seriously, get those kids off TV already!), being a single mom is definitely a challenge and no doubt many a single parent has felt like they were doing the job of two parents.
Kate does manage to get her fair share of digs in at Jon during interviews though, however passive aggressive or backhanded her comments seem to be.
While Jon had the kids for father’s day, Kate Gosselin was spotted out and about in short shorts and high heels (photos).

Kate takes on both roles because Jon is not around, it happens to every mother in a divorce situation with young children and a ex husband who only takes them a few times a month..
Stash commented on Jun 20 11 at 4:48 pmI don’t see it as a dig at all. Kate is with the kids most of the time. Jon has the kids two weekends a month. Kate wasn’t slamming Jon. She was stating a fact. For some reason, Hollybaby seems to love to criticize everything Kate does. Stop trying to portray her as a bad mother, because she isn’t.
Lenora commented on Jun 20 11 at 8:22 pmThe reality is Kate takes to her twitter and TV talk shows and regularly gets her public digs in about her ex, Jon, at every opportunity. She is nothing but a fame seeker who puts her needs above her children and the sanctity of privacy and a personal life for her kids. She is a mess and needs some major therapy. All of the LIES or SPINS she puts out there are her way of trying to keep her gravy train (money) coming in. The only one who Kate cares about is Kate. So sad.
holly commented on Jun 20 11 at 9:13 pmJon is the one who lies and and his ugly side kick Ellen is just like him they are both lying fat losers.
Kate has won every court case concerning the kids because she is the only real parent those children have.
Amie commented on Jun 20 11 at 10:23 pmHolly, I think Ellen is very attractive and appears to be a sweet and genuine person. She appears to have personality qualities that Kate does not possess. In addition, you sound like you have a personal issue with Jon Gosselin. I would say grow up and move on; your nasty comments speak volumes about you.
lorian commented on Jun 21 11 at 6:32 amSomeone tweeted HER, she was only responding as she has the children the majority of the time, she is like mom and dad to them. She has NEVER said that Jon was a bad parent, quit picking on her!
Kristie commented on Jun 21 11 at 2:16 pmKate is a nasty person who played to T. V. audience like a professional actor that we can all see that she truly is. She should be held socially responsible for endangering their lives by having so many at one time. Not to mention she exploits them for money! Ah! look at Michael Jackson and there you go..Then again: She trashed the poor man to the point of total belittlement on National T.V. No self respecting Mother or Father would give either one the thumbs up.
