What to get Johnny Depp for Father's Day

What will partner Vanessa Paradis and kids Lily Rose and Jack give dad Johnny Depp for Father’s Day? It probably won’t be that hard to figure something out. The man has a lot of interests and hobbies. And to make it easier, here are five Father’s Day Gift ideas for Johnny Depp or your own cool dad in your life.

1) A new hat
Johnny Depp’s fedora has seen better days. It’s a wee bit dingy and has a hole in the crown. And although he seems to have a sentimental attachment to this hat, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to get him a new one. It’s been rumored that Johnny Depp has gotten some hat from the legendary shop Lock & Co. Hatters in London. They’ve been making hats since 1676 so they really know what they are doing. 2) Hunter S. Thompson memento
One of Johnny Depp’s idols is the one and only Hunter S. Thompson – the king of gonzo journalism. Not only did Johnny Depp play Hunter S. Thomspson in the film version of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas but he and Hunter developed a strong and close friendship. If he doesn’t have one already, a first edition of this classic book – signed by Hunter S. Thompson – would be a fabulous gift. Available here for $6900.

3) Paint Set
One of Johnny Depp’s hobbies is to paint. He told Vanity Fair, “What I love to do is paint people’s faces, y’know, their eyes,” he says. “Because you want to find that emotion, see what’s going on behind their eyes.” And one thing painters always need? 5) A telescope for his yacht.

Depp and his family have a 156-foot steam powered yacht named the Vajoliroja. There are some old timey and “pirate themed touches” throughout the ship.
