Bethenny Frankel Launches Skinny Girl Daily
It used to be that all you needed to be a chic Hollywood mom was a fabulous wardrobe, a gorgeous husband or boyfriend and at least one adorable kid. These days it appears that to be considered a really fabulous Hollywood mom, you need to have your very own lifestyle website!
Gwyneth Paltrow got the ball rolling with her launch of GOOP last year which has become one of my favorite sites to visit each week. This summer it seems that a whole new crop of celebrity moms are jumping on board with the launch of lifestyle sites from Tori Spelling, Heidi Klum, and now Bethenny Frankel cropping up in recent weeks.
Bethenny Frankel is the latest celebrity mom to launch her lifestyle website which features “channels” outside of her regular areas of expertise. The Skinny Girl Daily site is being promoted as a healthy living website with everything from recipes to tips on healthy cleanses. Bethenny herself (or someone on her team) is posting daily articles related to a healthy lifestyle. Of course given Bethenny’s marketing prowress, she has made her latest collection of products (all relating to the Skinny Girl Detox and Cleanse) readily available for order directly from the website. While I’m all for these chic mama’s branching out and earning a living, I sure wish they would stick to subjects that they are truly experts in.
