Did Kate Gosselin Really Make Her Kids Work While She Partied in NYC?
Kate Gosselin parties while kids work at home?
I usually try and give Kate Gosselin the benefit of the doubt when it comes to parenting. Some days I find it hard to manage with only one child, so I can’t even begin to imagine how difficult it must be trying to keep up with eight!
Tonight brings a new episode of Kate Plus 8, which shows Kate and her best friend partying at clubs in NYC for her 36th birthday. Normally I wouldn’t bat an eyelash at a mom having a little girl time and letting loose on her birthday, because we all definitely deserve that. Kate, however, left her kids back in Pennsylvania, and still made them work taping their reality show while she was off having a big time!
It can’t be easy for those kids to have each and every single moment of their lives taped, so you’d think that if Kate was taking the weekend off from work, she could at least give the kids some down time as well. Supposedly the kids are shown having fun with the babysitters on the episode, but they could have had the same amount of fun with the cameras off, right?
While the kids were busy working, Kate and her best friend got their hair done, and then went to a bar called 230 Fifth. Supposedly we’ll see Kate get hit on in this episode as well. I wonder if the guy knew who he was dealing with?
What do you think? Should Kate have told the TLC cameras to take a hike while she lived it up in New York?

A few hours of their activities (which look to be a blast, by the way) were filmed. It’s just silly to say that every hour of their lives is taped. Silly and not factual.

Let’s face it, Kate has no talent, she can’t speak without ums &, ahs; she can’t dance; she can’t act; she can’t sing; and she can’t parent so finding a new man is her only alternative.
