Alexis Couture Too Racy for the Real Housewives of Orange County!

Alexis Couture received its big reality television debut on last week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County.  The collection received mixed reviews from the rest of the reality show cast with most declaring it to be much too revealing for the real world mom.

While the fashions were beautiful, they were barely there and don’t quite make the real world translation from Orange County fabulous.  The entire collection is way too tight and way to short to stand up to the daily demands of the real world mom.   With names like “Cinderella Slippers”, “Paparazzi Love It”, and “Sex In The City”, the collection is perfect for mom’s night out but not for everyday outings!  The comments from the other housewives at the collection’s debut were not exactly complimentary with none of them lining up to purchase items for their summer wardrobes.

Would you wear anything from the Alexis Couture collection?

Alexis Couture collection is not appropriate for the average mom. Good for a romantic evening out depending on age.

Couture means made to order for a specific customer – and I think we all know that (one) customer is Alexis herself. If she’s actually looking for sales other than her own, she should drop the price and market the line as the “Streetwalker Collection” instead.

I am a mom, and can’t wear that…I would be a laughing stock, not to mention probably have some man solicit me for something????? One could wear these outfits out at night or a dress up function, depending on age. Most of us live in the real world and don’t have nanny’s and assit to come over and put our fake eyelashes on….so I don’t see her making it with this collection.

I watch the show and Alexis couture line is very pretty, but most of it for sure is very sexy and very short. Its not every day wear and you certainly can only wear them out for date night out with your man. She is a very beautiful women and the styles she came up with are very fun looking. To me she came up with what suits her best and I think she did a good job at sticking to her style of clothing that fits her personality well. So good for you Alexis!
