Victoria Beckham - A 4th of July Baby?

Victoria Beckham and David Beckham will be welcoming their new baby not in their native England but in California, where they have made their home.  Their fourth child will be born via C-section and it’s being reported that Victoria has booked the birth to coincide with a important American holiday – the Fourth of July. Why is this date important to the Beckhams?

The Mail Online reports that they wanted to celebrate their four years living in the United States with having their daughter born on this iconic day – paying tribute to their adopted home. Also this is their fourth child, so the 4th of July has that meaning as well.

Victoria Beckham’s rep would not confirm the rumors of the Independence Day birth saying, “It is no secret that Victoria will be having her baby in the U.S. – we will not be confirming the date although early July is correct.”  There are also rumors that Victoria and David may name their daughter Atlanta, but Victoria’s rep said that, “David and Victoria have a shortlist of names and once they have met their daughter then they will decide – Atlanta is not on that shortlist!”

Do you think it is sweet or silly to book a C-section to coincide with a holiday?
