Kate Hudson admits struggling with losing baby weight.

I’ve always been a huge fan of Kate Hudson, but after reading part of her new interview in Marie Claire, she definitely went up another notch on my list of favorite celeb moms!

While most A-listers brag about being back in their skinny jeans just weeks after giving birth, Kate Hudson admits that losing the baby weight after having son, Ryder, was not exactly easy.

She told Marie Claire, “Let me tell you something. It’s an emotional roller coaster, having to lose weight. I gained so much — I was 185 pounds at the end. You actually experience how much energy is stored in that and how much emotion you actually hold in that mass. It is emotional, no matter how determined you are. It takes work to bounce back so quickly.”

Can you believe that Kate actually admitted that she weighed 185 pounds at the peak of her pregnancy? What a refreshing change from hearing about how certain celebrities only put on a few pounds while carrying their children! By being honest about her struggles with baby weight, Kate makes it much easier for “regular” moms to relate to her.

Now that she’s pregnant with her second child with fiance, Matthew Bellamy, Kate will have to go through the whole losing baby weight process again pretty soon. There is no doubt that she will take off every last pound, but honestly, she’s absolutely gorgeous at any size.
