Will Brad Pitt work with Angelina Jolie again?
In a recent interview with NPR, Brad Pitt talked about why he wanted such a big family… and his plans to work with Angelina Jolie again.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have quite the big family – three biological kids and three adopted – and for Pitt the population boom happened within just a few years.
Pitt commented, “I know it seems extreme from the outside, but I’ve always kind of operated this way. When I know, I know, and why mess around?”
Pitt seemed destined to be dad to so many kids, sharing, “I had a friend who had a big family when I was a kid. I just loved the chaos around the breakfast table and the fighting and the ribbing, and the mom making pancakes for everyone or the dad making pancakes. And I just decided then if I was ever going to do it — this left some indelible mark on me — if I was ever going to do it, that’s the way I was going to do it.”
And he sure did! Pitt is a good daddy in the kitchen, too, noting, “Breakfast is pretty much my specialty… And barbecue.”
As for why he wants to work with Angelina Jolie again, besides the obvious enjoyment of working alongside his beautiful and talented wife? Childcare.
Pitt explains, “We’re not ones to repeat ourselves, but we’d like to [work together], because right now, we’re hopscotching with films so one can be with the kids and one’s free to work. And why aren’t we doing them together? Why aren’t we doing everything together?”
Brad likes to keep it real for his kids, as seen in his recent trip to the playground with the twins.
Would you like to see Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie co-star in a movie together again? I wasn’t a fan of their first onscreen pairing, so I’d like to see what they do a second time around.
