Mario Lopez Talks About His New Cookbook, Fatherhood, and Changing Diapers (Video)
I recently told you that 36 year-0ld Mario Lopez wants to have as many kids as Brad and Angelina…but I don’t know how he is going to do that if he’s not a fan of changing diapers!
Mario tells PEOPLE: “I’ve [changed them] before, but to be honest, I could be better,” which to me is father-speak for I hate changing diapers and avoid it at all costs!
And while changing diapers isn’t his thing, he loves being a new father. “It’s changed me in all the most positive ways.” Mario goes on to talk about some of his 8-month-old daughter Gia’s milestones, including standing up by herself. “Everything she does is cute to me.”
And Mario is also a very busy guy. He hosts Extra and America’s Best Dance Crew, and also just released a cookbook titled “Extra Lean”. And get this…he claims you can lose 14 pounds in 14 days – without exercising – simply by following the plan in the book!
“This isn’t a diet book. Diets don’t work. This book explains why you shouldn’t be scared or guilty about having food. The only exercise I focus on in the book is when to push away from the table. If you really want to lose weight, it’s all about food.”
I’m 100% sure he didn’t get those awesome abs of his by not working out, but that’s another story. So how does he keep up with two jobs, promoting a cookbook, and being a dad? “I’m still doing everything that I’m doing — just working harder and doing it on less sleep.”
