Gwen Stefani Gets “Overwhelmed” and Worries about Her Kids’ Privacy

Gwen Stefani is a busy mom of two who, like any mom, feel overwhelmed sometimes! But unlike most of us, Gwen worries about the privacy of her kids.
In a new interview in Elle Canada, Garbage singer Shirley Manson sits down with the singer and mom of two to talk about everything from motherhood to her career.
When asked what’s the biggest sacrifice, Gwen said:
“The kids, their privacy, a responsibility for them and not knowing if this is going to ruin their lives. They’re so exposed and they don’t have a choice – that scares me a lot.”
Gwen, husband Gavin and their children, Kingston, 4, and Zuma, 2, seem to be photographed every single day – whether they are taking a walk in the park or on vacation. There is no escaping the cameras.
Luckily, Gwen has a good handle on her family’s fame.
“But I think it’s going to be fine. My children are very loved. Hopefully, they’re going to grow up and not be crazy because of it. I don’t think there are that many sacrifices – I really don’t want it all to go away.”
As a busy mom of two boys and a musician and with her own fashion line, how does she manage it all?
“I get overwhelmed. There’s just so much going on. How am I supposed to do everything – especially now that I have kids? That’s the hardest part – it’s just so much responsibility,” she said.
Luckily, Gwen’s parents are very close to her and the family, which is a huge help. “Let’s face it: it’s really hard to do what I do and have the boys. Next week, Gavin to going back to London and it’s going to be crazy. Having my parents there, at least they know that’s their family.”
