Celebrity Moms Get Some Incredibly Expensive ‘Push Presents’!
Wonder if these are J.Lo's $2.5 million dollar earrings?
Remember last week when I told you that Rachel Zoe got a 10 carat diamond ring push present? Turns out, she’s not the only celeb mom out there to get an insanely expensive gift after giving birth.
In February 2001, handsome Pierce Brosnan gave his wife Keely three lovely bracelets when their son Paris was born. The bracelets were gold and diamonds, and was a way to symbolize each member of the family. He also gave her a trip to Bora Bora in Tahiti for a little post-pregnancy “babymoon.”
Back in 2008 when Jennifer Lopez gave birth to her twins, Marc Anthony had some bling to give to her: A $300,000 canary diamond ring and a custom pair of diamond earrings with a price tag of $2.5 million.
It’s said that while Keith Urban gave Nicole Kidman a beautiful Cartier Trinity ring (valued at $73,000) when their daughter, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban in July 2008. And while she did no pushing when their daughter Faith was was born via a surrogate, Keith worked with a jeweler and designed an emerald-and-diamond cross. The reported cost? About $120,000.
Back in March 2007, Tori Spelling had her first child, Liam. Hubby Dean McDermott gave Tori a $1500 Balenciaga Giant Arena Bag as her push present.
And while this next push present is not outrageously priced as some of the others, it’s still over $500 for this “mama” necklace. It’s a piece by Tali Gillette, and includes pave diamonds set in 18k gold. The pendant, is a circle made up of the letters spelling “mama”. It was featured on the TODAY show, and in PEOPLE magazine. Gwyneth Paltrow, Naomi Watts, Bridget Moynahan and Joely Fisher all own one.
Sigh. I wish I could’ve gotten a cool push present like these celeb moms did! What about you? Did you receive a push present? Was it pricey or just sentimental?

Bea commented on May 17 11 at 2:01 amJust a little correction, Nicole did plenty of pushing when she gave birth to Sunday Rose on July 7, 2008. It was Faith Margaret, born December 28, 2010, who arrived via a gestational carrier/surrogate.
