Penelope Cruz’s Weight Loss Secret – You Can’t Even Tell She Just Had a Baby!
37 year-old first time mom Penelope Cruz just had her son in January, and you already can’t even tell she had a baby!
Penelope and husband Javier Bardem have been together since 2007, but married in July 2010. Shortly after, photos emerged of Cruz appearing to be pregnant on the set of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, which she’s starring in with Johnny Depp, and her rep confirmed that the she was expecting a child in January 2011. Her son, Leo Encinas Bardem, was born January 22, 2011.
So it hasn’t even been 4 months, and yet she looks absolutely incredible! How did she do it? Daily workouts with a trainer? Trips to the gym several days a week? A strict diet?
Nope.
Turns out her weight loss secret is dancing! Penelope tells The Daily Mirror: “I love ballet and it’s a little boring for me to go to the gym because I’m used to the dancing discipline — it’s really hard but much more fun.”
And maybe her diet has a bit to do it with, too: “I love Spanish food. My diet is the Mediterranean diet, which is good food. I eat well, but I try to eat healthy.”
Dancing and a healthy diet is all it takes to look like that after just having a baby?! I don’t buy it!
And the kicker to it all is that Penelope still treats herself with fast food from In-N-Out! “I do it, like, once a week or once every two weeks. It’s my little treat for myself. I love the Double-Double with fries.”
I can guarantee you that if I had a double-double with fries once a week I wouldn’t ever get my pre-baby body back!
What about you? If you dropped your baby weight quickly, share your secret to doing it!
