Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek

Salma Hayek wore read leather to the Puss In Boots photo call at the Cannes Film Festival.  She also wore a feathery shrug to go along with it.

The mom of three-year-old Valentina wore a strapless leather Gucci dress and covered up with a flowered shrug… but many are not digging the shrug.

Most people don’t like the look but I actually do!  Her husband, billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault is the CEO of PPR, which owns Gucci, among other brands… which explains the label choice perhaps?

Jennifer Lopez wore the same shrug but in pink at the “Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty” Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art just last week.

Who wore it better?

Jennifer Lopez - who wore it better?

I think JLo looked fantastic – she had her hair pulled back too.

Hayek and Antonio Banderas, wearing head-to-toe denim, looked like cozy co-stars for their animated film, the prequel spin-off from Shrek.

Antonio Banderas plays the Puss and Salma Hayek stars as Kitty Softpaws.

It’s definitely the type of movie to see with your kids.
