Bump Watch: Is Natalie Portman Trying To Put Herself Into Labor?

AES 031918 200x300 Bump Watch: Is Natalie Portman Trying To Put Herself Into Labor?Hmmm….I wonder if Natalie Portman is trying to put herself into labor by trying out an old wives’ tale: eating spicy foods.

Natalie Portman proves she’s ready to have her baby – with her appetite.

The 29 year-old actress is due any day now (as far as we know – she hasn’t really confirmed a due date other than to say “early summer). But she was spotted on Tuesday, May 10th grabbing some breakfast at Café Mogador in NYC’s East Village.

The restaurant serves up spicy breakfast dishes like Moroccan eggs with spicy tomato sauce, merguez sausage, and other foods that pack some heat. And if you believe the old wives’ tale, these kinds of foods can help pregnant women close to their due dates go into labor.

I don’t know if I buy it or not, but I do know that I did the same thing when I got close to my due date with my first child. When you are so close to your due date, you just want to get that baby out!

So what do you think? Is she trying to induce labor or just enjoying a Moroccan breakfast?
