Julia Roberts, stay at home mom?

Julia Roberts says she’s “earned the right” to be home with her kids and work less, telling Access Hollywood that she has no “mom guilt.”

If you’ve noticed that Julia Roberts hasn’t been starring in quite so many box office blockbusters these days, it’s no accident. No, Roberts’ career isn’t on the downward spiral, nor is she burned out from being a big Hollywood star all these years.

In fact, Julia Roberts made the decision to work less so that she could spend more time with her kids and husband.

Roberts explained, “I felt I earned the right to stay home and be home and get super selective about what I wanted to do work wise.”

Every mother’s dream, really… work less and have more time for your family? Indeed, Julia Roberts has earned it, but she also has the financial means to support a decision to stay home with her family more.

And that’s a beautiful thing.

Julia Roberts and her husband, Daniel Moder, have been married since 2002 and have three children: Henry, 3 and twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, 6.

Have you made a similar decision to work less so that you can have the time to be with your kids?

As a work-at-home mom, I’m always trying to find the balance between work and family, making sure I don’t overdo the work side of things because, well, those kids grow up too fast!

I think I’ve earned the right to stay home too, but I don’t exactly have Julia Roberts’ bank account!

We think that is just fantastic. Obviously Julia Roberts is as classy as we all knew she was from the beginning. Great story :)
