Top 10 Celebrity Baby Names! How Did Violet, Maddox & Harlow Rank?
It’s kind of like a game of ‘what came first the chicken or the egg’ on the popularity of the names celebrities give their children. Do the names become more popular after a movie star or rocker titles their child? Or were the celebrities just riding the wave? It seems like many of these names did become more common after a star gave them their seal of approval.
On Thursday the Social Security Administration released their new data on the top ten boy and girls names for 2010 as well as updating their ranking of the top 1000 baby names for girls and boys. So how did the celebrity baby names rank? Check out this list of celebrity baby names to see how they’re doing:

Stella – (Tori Spelling’s daughter) 85 (RISING)
Violet- (Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck’s daughter) 123 (RISING)
Ryder – (Kate Hudson’s son) 135 (RISING)
Maddox –(Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt’s son) 180 (RISING)
Kingston – (Gwen Steffani & Gavin Rossdales’s son) 214 (RISING)
Vivienne – (Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt’s daughter) 428 (RISING)
Knox – (Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt’s son) 457 (RISING)
Shiloh –(Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt’s daughter) – 620 (DROPPING)
Harlow – (Nicole Richie & Joel Madden’s daughter) 778 (RISING)
Zuma, Suri, Sparrow, Honor, Seraphina, Zahara, Pax, Monroe, and yes, Moroccan, did not make it in the list of the top 1000 names.
