Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Ex Want Joint Custody of Kids
If you grew up in the early ’90s, you probably remember Mark-Paul Gosselaar for his character Zack Morris on Saved By the Bell, and you probably had a crush on him! Unfortunately, Gosselaar and his wife of almost 14 years are calling it quits.
Gosselaar and his estranged wife Lisa Ann Russell were married in 1996, but they have been separated since June 2010. The one thing that they both agree on? Sharing custody of the children.
37 year-old Gosselaar cited irreconcilable differences when he filed for divorce from his wife. At the time he requested joint custody of 7 year-old son Michael Charles and 5 year-old daughter Ava Lorenn.
Russell is seeking the same thing, and is also seeking spousal support.
Although divorce is never good news, when the couple agree on something as big as joint custody of the children, that says something about their relationship. I hope that everything goes smoothly for the kids.
