Mariah Carey gave birth to twins on Saturday: her and Nick Cannon’s wedding anniversary. Nick Cannon could not be a happier dad- it’s really the cutest thing.
But, the couple had planned to renew their wedding vows on their anniversary and obviously the twins changed those plans. Dear Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, welcome to parenthood, where kids ALWAYS change your plans!
Instead, the couple renewed their vows in the hospital yesterday!
Nick Cannon tweeted: “Yep we just had a wedding in the hospital!”
It was Reverend Al Sharptonwho came to the hospital to renew their vows and give a blessing to the twins(whose names we STILL don’t know!): “I also conducted the renewal of their vows and the blessing of the newborn twins. Mariah looks GREAT, and the babies are beautiful.”
A vow renewal after three years of marriage? That’s sweet… but, I want to see if they still want to do a vow renewal after one year of dealing with twin babies! Now THAT is a true test of marriage.
