Dated and simple, dissapointing and ‘underwhelming’ Un-becoming a McQueen

I expected a bit more of a show I guess….her dress seemed very 1990′s Nancy Kerrigan skating costume???? At least for someone under such intense, stressfull scruntiny, fashionably speaking; and otherwise for the rest of her life, she most certainly didn’t set the bar too high as a fashion icon…….

Honestly though, for a designer who emerged from under Alexander McQueen..(rest his talented avant-garde soul) Granted, you have to appease the client…but to have produced such an under-whelming garment for a princess/duchess, “Future Queen” that has been considered in the media as “”the next fashion icon” on her wedding day that is to be/was viewed by billions…not to mention, a bride that however unfortunately, will be compared to Diana, aaaand not to mention will be highly scrutinized as an un-solicited trend setter…this was not the dress…..honestly, unfettered monetary restraint, and unlimited world famous designers at her disposal……..???? Not a dress that will end up travelling the worlds museums like David Emanuels iconic dress.

Another funny/ sad thing for fashion-indusrty types…as I am watching the bloggers, and media gush over this dress…It is being labelled “a McQueen” can those of you who have known and loved Alexander McQueen through-out his career honestly say Sarah has done him proud, and has represented his essence??? I just cant imagine, had Alexander himself been the lead on this dress, that it would have been soooo drab, dated, and un-impressive on such a historical and regal moment. Boring. Period.

I expected a little more firstly because it was a royal wedding and secondly because the newspapers and the media literally bragged about it forever so i thought this should be interesting. It was simple and good but not so much what I expected. Also, her hair did not seem good either! She has beautiful BEAUTIFUL hair but today they seemed as if they were glued down…
anyways! I wish them good luck. May God bless them!
