Prince William and Kate Middleton: Interested In Adoption?
Prince William and Kate Middleton haven’t even walked down the aisle at the Royal Wedding yet, but many people are already starting to talk about when they will start a family together. In fact, one of my fellow bloggers even has suggestions for baby names for the Royal couple’s offspring!
It’s likely that William and Kate will wait at least a year or two before having children, but are they interested in adoption in addition to having biological children together?
A new report published by the National Enquirer says that Kate Middleton and Prince William both like the idea of adopting a baby from another country.
The National Enquirer says that according to a “Buckingham Palace insider”, “Wills thinks a foreign adoption will help finally modernize the Royal family and make it more popular with the people.”
The source adds, Kate’s got a big heart just like William’s late mother Princess Diana. That’s one of the reasons Wills fell for her.” This person also says that Kate Middleton admires and respects actress Angelina Jolie, which is another reason she’d like to adopt.
The National Enquirer isn’t always the most reputable source, but for some reason I actually believe this story may have some truth to it. I can see Prince William and Kate Middleton adopting a child. Can you?

Oy vey commented on Apr 26 11 at 5:36 pmOf course I can see them adopting! Every imperialistic neo-colonizing Caucasian exploiter needs the latest fashion statement of an off-white adoptee to complete the decor. The only question is, what shade of adoptee will they buy? Ethiopian? Guatemalan? Korean? It will depend on what decor their new home is furnished in.
DLadee commented on Apr 26 11 at 9:58 pmOh My love,…..to MODERNISE the family?! What the ?!?!? THis isn’t a trendy new car, or a new exotic pet?! its a human beings life?! Do all of you priviledged really think that you need to “Save” a poor “orphan” from another country?! Has anyone ever put any thought in to the strain adoption puts on the child, the parents?! Its un-natural, and should only happen in the worst case scenario. Actual orphans, not babies stolen (coerced) from young mothers and given to the infertile or priviledged! And if you really care about the people, and what they think of you…try realizing that “charity” begins at home. Why ignore the poor chidren who are stuck in foster care right in your neighborhood?! To get a baby..a blank slate to write your expectations on? ummm NO. Babies have a primal connection to their mother, and are already damaged once they are seperated from them. So they already know you are a substitute. Be kind and feed the ill, homeless, teach them to care for their own babies if you want to truely help. Don’t steal another baby from their mother’s arms.. ESPECIALLY just to make yourself look good! UGH!!!!!
Lindyloolah commented on Apr 28 11 at 6:16 amAs a UK adoptee I can say that they will lose A LOT of my respect if they do adopt. Unless it’s an older/disabled child from the UK foster care system. But we all know that’s never going to happen.
