Mary McCormack's Pregnancy Will Be Written Into 'In Plain Sight.'

In Plain Sight actress Mary McCormack has announced that she is pregnant with her third child. Luckily, the pregnancy is being written into the USA network series.

With all the excitement that comes with such a huge storyline, we decided to take it upon ourselves and put a spotlight on other actresses who had the courtesy of having their pregnancy written into their respective series.

According To Jim actress Courtney Thorne-Smith became pregnant almost four years ago and her pregnancy was written into the ABC comedy. “We are going to go for a pregnancy because Courtney is pregnant,” costar Jim Belushi told TV Guide at the time.

Likewise, Molly Ringwald found out she was expecting twins two years ago during her current stint on The Secret Life Of the American Teenager. Her pregnancy came as exciting news on the set, says Shailene Woodley, who plays Ringwald’s daughter on the show.

And just this past year, Bethany Joy Galeotti of One Tree Hill expected her first child with husband Michael Galeotti. But in an interesting twist, the pregnancy was already written into the series before she found out the happy news! Talk about fate!

It’s always exciting when character become pregnant on popular television series’, but it’s even happier news when it’s a situation of reality rather than fiction.
