Tina Fey Should Write "Prayer For a Husband"

By now, I’m sure you’ve heard about the hoopla surrounding “Tina Fey’s Prayer For a Daughter.” It’s an excerpt from her book, Bossypants. If you haven’t, you can read it here, but it’s basically just a plea from Tina for how she wants her daughter to be in the future. Many parents have gotten a few laughs from it, that’s for sure.

Now that she’s expecting baby number two, Tina Fey may want to consider writing a “Prayer For a Husband!”

While Tina says that her hubby, Jeff Richmond, did a good job of helping her out with their first child, there was one thing that he just couldn’t seem to get on board with. Tina says, “The problem was diapers. He never got past the poop. He would do these [gagging noise] Oh God, I’m gonna vomit. Never got over it.”

Wouldn’t it be funny if Tina wrote a prayer in the hopes that her husband would invest in a clothespin for his nose and rise to the occasion with the new baby?

I wrote a post on my personal blog not too long ago entitled, “A Life’s Manual For New Dads.” Maybe Tina Fey should pass it on to her husband!
