Tina Fey on cursing at kids

Does Tina Fey’s Prayer for a Daughter include cursing at your kids? Anyone reading Fey’s recent GQ interview may be scratching their head in response to one comment she made that swearing at your kids is okay.

Yes, Tina Fey says it’s okay to curse at your children… for real?

Exhibit A, the quote from Tina Fey’s GQ interview was in response to this question: “Louis C.K. has a classic line that it’s completely okay to call your kid an a**hole. What do you think?”

Fey responds: “I think that any person being an a** hole deserves it. Especially toddlers — they’re total d-bags. You gotta let them know.”

Before you moms fire up a hate filled email for Tina Fey, let’s keep in mind that Tina Fey is 100% a comedy goddess, so don’t assume everything she says is completely serious.

This statement about cursing to your kids seems to fall squarely in the comedy bucket, so take a deep breath, and you know… laugh a little!

Tina Fey also recently joked in an interview that she wasn’t going to find out the sex of her baby EVER, and shared a 3D ultrasound picture of a troll baby on Conan.

Clearly, this Tina Fey quote is not to be taken seriously!
