Tina Fey’s Prayer for a Daughter, Other Celeb Moms Funny Quotes on Motherhood
Celebrity moms are experts at juggling, just like the rest of us! They balance family life with movies and red carpet appearances but like all moms, celebrity moms use humor to deal with the insane job of motherhood.
Tina Fey’s prayer for her daughter is hysterical because every mom can relate. Read the whole prayer here but here’s one of my favorite parts:

Tina Fey is the queen of funny but Gwyneth Paltrow’s dinner table sounds a lot like mine.
Gwyneth Paltrow sums it up perfectly:
“Some days I feel like everyone in my world has plugged themselves into my kidneys. I’m so tired. When you’re having dinner with your kids and your husband and someone says something funny or you’re dying laughing because your three-year-old made a fart joke, it doesn’t matter what else is going on. That’s real happiness.”
I laughed out loud reading a recent interview with Jennifer Garner about working motherhood. Garner talked about a business trip to Toronto she took without her husband and kids:
“The family acted like I was going to the moon. Even though Ben is there with the children and they will be fine, Violet was wondering, ‘Where is Mom going?’ We travel together all the time.”
I have to type out and print instructions for everyone when I leave town, so I totally get it! Kate Winslet told PEOPLE magazine she sometimes feels like she’s in the CIA:
“I [balance work with raising 2 kids] with great precision. I plan everything in advance: who’s picking up. We have charts, maps and lists on the fridge, all over the house. I sometimes feel like I’m with the CIA.”
