Teen Mom 2 Leah Messer leaves town with twins
Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer was spotted at the airport with her twins.
This is just days after she filed for divorce from Corey Simms, her husband of only six months. Messer was spotted at Charleston, West Virginia Airport with her twins, Aliannah and Aleeah, 16 months old.
Messer was with her mother and best friend as well. The MTV reality star apparently seemed distressed as she boarded the airplane.
To many, the news of this split doesn’t come as a surprise. Messer was hesitant to settle down with Simms, 20.
The couple dated for one month, found out she was pregnant and then they split up just after the 2009 birth of their twin daughters. They then reunited six months later, moved in together and got married.
“Three years ago, back before I was pregnant, I never thought I’d be married now. I was scared because a lot of people who marry young end up divorcing within a year,” Messer once told Us Weekly.
“My mom and dad married, divorced, remarried and divorced again,” Messer said. “I don’t want my girls to go through that. My mom talked to me because she wed at 16 and didn’t want me to go through a divorce like she did.”
