49958PCN KateSprings041 300x199 Kate Gosselin Fights With Paparazzi: Is Kate Setting Good Example for Kids?Kate Plus 8 star Kate Gosselin is in a fight with New Zealand paparazzi!  The latest Gosselin media scandal happened when Kate and her brood of eight were shooting an episode of Kate Plus 8 in New Zealand.

The Gosselin kids were being hassled by an aggressive photographer and the situation spiraled downward.  The pushy photographer shoved a Kate Plus 8 production assistant who was blocking his shots of Gosselin and her children.

Now Kate Gosselin is playing the victim card, said about the incident:

“It was like here you are across the world, and it’s the old struggles of home.”

Really Kate?

If you watch the video of the paparazzi brawl, there’s no question the New Zealand photographer was a total jerk. I wouldn’t want my kids hassled like that either.

Here’s a newsflash for Kate Gosselin: One way to keep the paparazzi from following your kids? Take them off the reality show!

Is Kate Gosselin setting a good example for her children?  It seems like Kate wants it both ways at times—she wants to reap the benefits of being a reality star but then she doesn’t like to pay the price.

Kate Gosselin has made a ton of money because of her reality TV celebrity status.  This mom of eight has been elevated to public figure status in part because of the paparazzi!

Kate doesn’t seem to mind the paps taking pics of her family when she’s trying to sell a book.  She seems fine with the paparazzi when she’s spilling her side of the story in the latest Kate vs. Jon battle.  Maybe Kate missed the memo but there’s no such thing as a free ride!

What do you think of Kate Gosselin?  Talk to me.

Kate loves the paparazzi. She’s a caller and sets up meetings with the only pap left willing to take her picture, a guy named chris. She made this non-incident an incident. Her tour guide was trying to ignore the guy and Kate was the one who made a big deal out of it. Plus why is ok for tlc to shove cameras in their faces but she flips out over one paparazzo. And I’ll bet you anything she called him, too, since no one even knows or cares who they are in NZ. Kate LOVES the paparazzi, talks about them all the time. Anyway, she doesn’t have long to worry. The paparazzi aren’t interested anymore.

It’s so pathetic the way Ms Gosselin is treated by some in the so called “media”. She’s always in a no-win situation and no matter what she does, someone will find fault! I am the mother of three and an elementary teacher. I have a great deal of respect for her and how she has handled her life. It’s so easy to say what she should do..get the kids off tv, etc….but the suggestions on what to do instead are ridiculous. Nurisng won’t even pay for child care while she would be gone! Everyone seems to think they know more about raising her kids than she does…seriously???? Ms Gosselin was correct in her reaction to the paps. They seldom respect the boundaries. I’m glad she called them on it!

Kate would not be making the money she is without the paparazzi. She comes across as an ungrateful person which is why many people don’t like her.

I just watched Kate in New Zealand and wanted to puke with the way she acted about height. Who does she think she is to tell people how to run their business and who does she think she is holding up the others who wanted the experience. She needed to take her behind back in the building immediately and not make a fool of herself. She was disgusting and such a diva. The guy in charge should have slapped the blank out of her.

Pretty soon Kate will be back on some talk show begging people to watch because she has a purse full of bills to pay. Loser! Imagine Kate won’t be able to buy a new pair of shoes, go tanning and do mani-peds weekly. How sad. There are more important things going on in the world than Kate and her eight and if anything we should be concentrating on raising our children not to be self-entitled and spoiled.

Why does everyone writing about this take Kate’s word at face value. Clearly there are one or two guys with cameras standing near the entrance. They aren’t bothering anyone. One of the production assistants confronts them and tries to block his shot, essentially interfering with the guy’s job, a legal job in a public place. Now every internet nitwit writing about this says the paparazzi were harassing her, because she says they were. The fact of the matter is she was a relatively unknown, middle cable, reality personality until she and her husband became tabloid and paparazzi worthy, and that was the peak of her career. The “the paparazzi are a nightmare” is just part of her shtick now. It’s like a 5 year old pretending to be a movie star and saying “No pictures, please.” Self validation. You bet she calls the paps.
