Mariah Carey Shows Off Her Twins' Nursery!
Mariah Carey is set to welcome her twins any day now and when they do arrive she has set up the ultimate diva-licious nursery to come home to!
Not only do the twins get a luxurious nursery in Bel-Air, California, they have a second extra plush abode awaiting them across country in New York City. Both rooms are full of comfy furniture, plush stuffed animals, and Mariah’s personal diva style.
“I wanted to create a beautiful, tranquil, cozy environment for the babies,” Mariah tells Life & Style in an exclusive interview. “Everything matches, but pieces are individualized to celebrate the twins as separate entities.”
Mariah and husband Nick Cannon reportedly dropped over $1M for the twins nursery furnished with pink and green details for the upcoming son and daughter. For the furniture, Mariah turned to the luxe brand Art For Kids furniture to ensure the kids sleep in ultimate comfort. For all the decorator details, the couple turned to designer Mario Buatta to pull together a nursery that was fit for the diva-licious infants.
The best part of the nursery? “The ceiling has orangey-pink clouds in a blue sky with golden stars twinkling,” Mariah reveals. “It’s based on two songs I wrote that are fan favorites: ‘Underneath the Stars’ and ‘Close My Eyes.’”
Whether they are at home on the West Coast or heading back to the East Coast for the schools, the couple is sure to raise their tots in their own unique A-List style!
