Nicole Richie is not Pregnant
Is Nicole Richie pregnant? Many people were asking that question earlier this week when Nicole turned up wearing a top that made her appear slightly fuller around the mid-section. Richie is speaking out on the rumors, and insists that she is not expecting.
Nicole released the following statement:
“Contrary to recent speculation, I am not pregnant. This irresponsible reporting continues to feed an atmosphere of self-doubt and insecurity. To publicly point out a change in anyone’s body is mean spirited and cruel. People’s bodies change and change again. This is not newsworthy and is a waste of valuable media space that should be used for more important issues.”
Nicole Richie has been subject to scrutiny over her body for years, especially when she was at her thinnest. Now that she’s happy and healthy, people just can’t seem to leave well enough alone.
For the record, we think Nicole looks great!
