Shania Twain is not having infertility issues

Shania Twain is newly remarried, but that doesn’t necessarily mean she’s trying to have a baby – don’t believe everything you read! Shania Twain is also shooting down rumors of infertility that recently surfaced.

Shania’s spokesperson tells People.com, “This is absolutely not true.”

Shania Twain does have other exciting things on the horizon, including her new documentary series “Why Not? With Shania Twain,” set to premiere on May 8 on the OWN Network which gives an inside look at her life after her marriage to Robert “Mutt” Lange broke up.

Twain and new hubby Frédéric Thiébaud are still enjoying their newlywed status (they were married on January 1 in Puerto Rico), with Twain writing the month before she got married: “I’m feeling refreshed and optimistic about the future. I’m looking forward to what the new year has in store.”

Shania Twain has one son, Eja, who is 9.
