Very Pregnant Alicia Silverstone Poses For Vogue!
34-year-old actress Alicia Silverstone is expecting her first baby in just a couple of months!
The eco-friendly supporter and vegetarian recently completed a photo shoot for the April 2011 issue of Vogue magazine where she proudly showed off her 8-month baby bump. The photo shoot took place at a local Los Angeles animal sanctuary called ‘Animal Acres’.
Other pregnant celebrities have also graced Vogue’s cover including Britney Spears, Demi Moore, and Christina Aguilera.
Silverstone felt right at home and very comfortable throughout the shoot. She posted on her blog, thekindlife.com:
I got to lie right under a pig, hang out with some cows and sit in a barn with a bunch of cool turkeys, chickens and ducks. Plus, the onset motorhome was run on bio-diesel fuel, and they were playing groovy music! It was a beautiful, fun day. Even the bathroom had Seventh Generation babywipes and a candle. The food was all plant-based, and all was groovy! It was an amazing surprise to show up to a motor home like this. Yay, Vogue!
Alicia is the author of the now famous vegan cookbook titled The Kind Diet that has been featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show.
I think it’s fantastic that Vogue made sure that the photo shoot was an eco-friendly experience for Silverstone since they know how important green living and eating is to her!
