Liv Tyler, Rainn Wilson, Kevin Bacon And Ellen Page Star In ‘Super’: Watch Trailer Here!
The beautiful Liv Tyler is finally back after an almost-3-year acting hiatus! Tyler will be starring in the movie Super, opposite Rainn Wilson, Ellen Page and Kevin Bacon. The movie is being released today.
Tyler has been on an acting hiatus since her split from husband Royston Langdon in 2008. You might know Langdon from the band ‘Spacehog’.
Tyler says of the movie: “I’ve made a lot of small, independent films in a short amount of time but this was really fast… we had 24 days, shot on video…Louisiana was cold. It was intense and fast. Really, really fast.”
“From page one I could not put it down. I was laughing out loud,” she said. “I had to take a break and walk away for a second, then come back. The rest all came together with the cast. It was one of those things that’s kind of a no-brainer.
Sounds like me kind of movie! So what is the movie about exactly? Well, it’s about a down-in-the-dumps loser named Frank (Wilson) who finds his ex-addict wife (Tyler) willingly being snatched by a seductive drug dealer (Bacon). Unable to cope, he decides to fight back under the guise of a DIY superhero that he calls ‘Crimson Bolt’. He makes his own super hero suit, arms himself with a wrench, and finds himself a crazy sidekick named Boltie (Page). All to save his wife. Wonder if he does it?
Will you be seeing Super? While Tyler says how funny it is, I’m going to wait for some reviews. In the meantime, watch the trailer here!
