April Fools 2011 is here and no one is safe from pranks on April 1, not even celebrities! But some celebs are highly creative on April Fools Day, here are a few of our favorite celebrity pranks!
Joel McHale Pranks Ryan Seacrest
Joel McHale loves to razz Ryan Seacrest and for April Fools Day 2010, McHale took over Seacrest’s personal website. The host of The Soup and star of Community renamed the website JoelMcHale.com and Ryan Seacrest pictures were substituted with Joel McHale’s pictures all over the website, it was hysterical. Just one more reason to love Joel McHale!
Coldplay Launches Own Fragrance Called Angst
In an unexpected April Fools joke, Coldplay announced that they were getting in to the fragrance business with their new fragrance called Angst. Chris Martin said they developed the fragrance because people like to smell nice. Awesome April Fools joke!
George Clooney is one of the biggest celebrity pranksters. According to PEOPLE, Clooney pulled many pranks during the filming of the Oceans 11, Oceans 12 and Oceans 13 films. PEOPLE reports:
“His notorious stunts on the Ocean’s films prompted Julia Roberts to describe not working with him as ‘a relief,’ because ‘I didn’t have to check the toilet for anything or the light bulbs or the phone.’”
Justin Bieber Buys Funny or Die
Finally, Justin Bieber was part of an awesome prank in 2010 that wasn’t technically April Fools but it was one of the best celeb pranks ever. In 2010, Justin Bieber “bought” Funny or Die as part of a prank.
