30 Rock actress Elizabeth Banks announced Wednesday (March 30) that she and her husband have welcomed a baby boy born via gestational surrogate.
The 37-year-old actress tweeted Wednesday, “What’s greater than overjoyed? Megajoyed? Add humility, love, awe. Sprinkle w cute. Result: my new life as a mom. It’s a boy!”
According to her personal blog, Banks and hubby Max Handelman are the proud parents of a son named Felix.
The new mom writes, “Felix means ‘happy’ and ‘lucky’ in Latin. And true to his name, Felix is a very happy baby and a blessing on our life.”
Banks and Handelman have been together for 20 years! How remarkable is that! Congratulations to the happy couple!
