Dixie Chicks Travelin Soldier: In Case Tonight’s Army Wives Didn’t Make You Cry Enough
I can’t help singing along to the Dixie Chicks songs, especially their fun, upbeat, empowering songs. But, the Dixie Chicks do have a few heartbreaking ballads, too.
Travelin’ Soldier is one such song. ”Waitin’ for the soldier to come back again, Never more to be alone when the letter says, A soldier’s coming home”
In case you missed it, Jeremy died on Army Wives tonight.
Tonya and Jeremy’s short-lived engagement reminded me of the Dixie Chicks’ Travelin Solidier. Take a listen:
