Donald Trump and Whoopi Goldberg fight on The View over Obama's birth certificate
Oh, the Donald and his outspoken ways! Donald Trump went on The View and the topic of Obama’s birth certificate came up.
Donald Trump said that he wants President Obama to show his birth certificate, that there must be something on it that Obama doesn’t want the world to see, otherwise he would show it.
Whoopi Goldberg fired back that this was only because Obama is black and that this wouldn’t be an issue if he were white. I don’t know about that: since a requirement of being President is being born in the United States, shouldn’t all Presidents or even Presidental candidates have to show proof of this?

And listen, I’m no birther, trust me, my mother in law is and I would love for her just find a hobby, but…you’re President of The United States. Showing a birth certificate should be a requirement. I have to show my kids’ birth certificates just to let them play soccer. The highest office in the land should have to show that, too. And why is Whoopi so against him having to show it?
And sorry Whoopi, playing the race card doesn’t hack it. This has nothing to do with race, just the proper requirements to hold the position for President of the US.
