Survivor Redemption Island Recap: Boston Rob Plays His Teammates
Eventually, I’ll get over Russell not being on Survivor: Redemption Island. I know, I know, he’s the ultimate Survivor villain. But, he made things interesting.
So, on to tonight’s Survivor recap. Zapatera seems to be getting along pretty well without Russell. I had to learn the name of their tribe since I can’t call them Russell’s tribe any more. Though, they really don’t care about Stephanie and Krista. Those two headed to witness the duel and planned to get a message to Rob’s team that they are ready to flip sides at the merge.
Matt and Christina faced off during the duel, building a three by three cube out of puzzle pieces. One again, Matt wins the duel.
Back in Rob’s tribe, Phillip continues to annoy people and the girls seem to be ready to backstab each other. A lot of fakeness going on there.
For the immunity challenge, the tribe is blindfolded, except for their caller. The caller must get their team through a maze to get puzzle pieces and then put the puzzle together. Also a reward challenge: coffee and pastries.
Stephanie was the caller for Zapatera and Boston Rob was the caller for his. Rob got his team through the maze first and solved the puzzle first, winning immunity for his team.
Stephanie was already on the outs with her team and this certainly didn’t help.
Grant foud a clue inside the jar of coffee and handed it off to Rob, who already has the immunity idol. Rob switched out the clue for the first one that he had, which was a very general clue.
Off to tribal council. It was either going to be Stephanie or Krista, so we didn’t see a long tribal council or much scrambling. Krista was voted to Redemption Island and will face Matt in a duel next week.
