pierce brosnan 211x300 St. Patricks Day: Pierce Brosnan Irish Celebrity We LovePierce Brosnan is an Irish celebrity we love on St Patricks Day!   Pierce Brosnan was born in Ireland but now holds Irish and American citizenship.  The handsome Irishman is best known for his role in the 80′s TV series Remington Steele and for his work as 007 in the James Bond film series.

The actor is also known for his work in the following movies: The Thomas Crown Affair, The Matador Mamma Mia!, The Ghost Writer, and for playing Robert Pattinson’s father in Remember Me.

In the 90′s, the sexy Irish actor became the fifth secret agent James Bond.  Pierce Brosnan starred in four James Bond films between 1995 and 2002.

Pierce Brosnan was married to Australian actress Cassandra Harris from 1980 until her death in 1991.  Harris and Brosnan were married in 1980 and had one son together, Sean, who was born on 13 September 1983.

The couple lived with her children, Charlotte and Christopher.  The actor adopted Charlotte and Christopher in 1986.   Cassandra Harris died but in 2001, Pierce married American  Keely Shaye Smith, and the couple have two sons.  So this Irish actor has a pretty big brood!

The Matador is my favourite Pierce movie, but basically I love him so much I’d watch anything he’s in! Gorgeous, devoted family man,. They broke the mould!

Favorite Pierce Brosnan movie? Most definitely The Thomas Crown Affair!!! No, wait…The Ghost Writer. No, GoldenEye. Of course Mamma Mia was so much fun! And so was After The Sunset, Laws of Attraction, Mrs. Doubtfire and Married Life. But then there’s Live Wire (scene 17, baby!!!) and Grey Owl. Oh, and I can’t forget The Tailor of Panama! And Murder 101 has always been a favorite. And The Heist! There’s also Dante’s Peak and Shattered. Evelyn has always held a special place in my heart. And he was the best Bond, so I always enjoy Tomorrow Never Dies, Die Another Day and The World Is Not Enough. OK, OK, OK…The Thomas Crown Affair. I think…
