Pete Wentz Will Pay Ashlee Simpson Spousal Support.
It looks as though the divorce between Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz won’t be as dramatic as originally thought.
Original reports suggested that Simpson wanted primary physical custody of son, Bronx, and spousal support. And Wentz was originally reported to be fighting those petitions. But now it looks like information had been distorted in the press.
A source has reported to RadarOnline that paperwork filed by Wentz’s lawyer may not be entirely how he feels.
The source says, “Ashlee’s family was really upset when they heard about the custody and support requests. And Pete felt really bad about it. He told Ashlee not to worry because he would be paying support. It doesn’t seem like Pete was the one to make the decisions about support and custody, it sounds more like his lawyers were responsible for the move. He loves her and wishes they could stay married. They get along really well and have been so good about sharing time with Bronx. Pete is leaving to go on tour this week, and Ashlee’s gone out of her way to make sure he can spend time with Bronx, they’ve already made a schedule that works for both of them. Pete made way more money than Ashlee did during their two year marriage, but that was because she was being a mom and not working, so he will definitely be supporting her.”
I hope that one day these two can work things out. It seems as though they are being very mature about the situation. Are you hoping for a reconciliation?
