Charlie Sheen Suing CBS for “Mental Anguish” (VIDEO)
I seriously cannot get enough of Charlie Sheen right now! He just gets crazier and crazier every time he opens his mouth. First, he talks about his “goddesses“. Then he says calls John Stamos a “tragic joke“. He got a weird tattoo recently, and is accused of being anti-semite. But that’s not enough because now Charlie Sheen is reportedly launching a $320 million lawsuit against CBS, Warner Bros. and Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre!
Sheen is suing for “mental anguish” because production on the top-rated sitcom he stars in, Two and a Half Men, was cancelled part way through the season. I won’t even mention it was because of him.
The New York Post reports that Sheen may be filing the suit on Tuesday. Part of the suit includes a demand from him that he be paid for the ninth season of the hit show…they are only in season eight right now and haven’t even started production on next season yet!
In a letter to CBS and Warner Bros. from Sheen’s lawyers obtained by the website RadarOnline, Sheen’s attorney says of the decision to cancel the show partway through a season:
“This action is outrageous and in direct violation of our client’s legal rights, including under the contract between our client and Warner Bros. Television with regard to Two and a Half Men (“the Series”)…Our client is entitled to be paid for eight additional episodes under his contract on the Series.”
The letter also states that Sheen is sober and ready to work. That part? I’m not so sure about.
You can hear what he has to say about why he wants to sue in the video below.
