Academy Awards 2011 - Matt Damon Flashback

Once upon a time (before he was the father of four adorable girls) Oscar Winner Matt Damon was the fresh faced kid from Boston taking on the powers that be by making the little movie that could, Good Will Hunting.  He may not have gotten the nod this year for his role True Grit, he’ll be hitting the red carpet tonight to support the film which received 1o nominations for tonight’s Academy Awards including Best Actor for Jeff Bridges and Best Supporting Actress for Hailee Steinfeld.

Watch Matt Damon and Ben Affleck accept the Best Writing Oscar for Good Will Hunting below….

All the buzz surrounding the movie got us a little nostalgic for the days when Matt and Ben were busy bringing their moms along as their dates for their dash down the red carpet way back in 1997.  Their acceptance speech which was full of the jubilation of youth goes down as one of the best in Oscar history!
