If the District Attorney Danette Meyers had her choice, Lindsay Lohan would be spending the next six months in jail. But will the troubled actress spend that amount of time behind bars?

According to TMZ, the DA offered  – in the judge’s chambers – a six month jail stint for  Lindsay Lohan. The judge – in the courtroom – mentioned that Lindsay’s lawyer Shawn Holley wouldn’t accept those terms since they are looking to avoid jail time.

And in the interest of time, Lindsay’s preliminary hearing on the grand theft case (in regards to the stolen necklace) and her probation hearing will be rolled into one and will be heard at the same time.

As for jail time, it sounds like – odds are – Lindsay will serve some time but probably alot less then six months. The judge said if she pleaded guilty or no contest in the felony case and she’ll be going to jail for sure.

“If you plead in front of me, if this case is resolved in front of me, you are going to jail,” Schwartz said. “Period.”

DO you think she’ll just get a slap on the wrist or will she do an actual stint in behind bars?
