Carrie Underwood Music Banned: Canada Takes Hockey Seriously

ALO 110432 195x300 Carrie Underwood Music Banned: Canada Takes Hockey SeriouslyIt was good news for Carrie Underwood when her husband, Mike Fisher, was traded from the Ottawa Senators to the Nashville Predators.  The happy couple would be in the same town!

But, the city of Ottawa is not happy and is blaming Carrie Underwood for their team’s loss.

An Ottawa country radio station is banning all of Carrie Underwood’s music! The radio station said that Mike Fisher was “lured away from Ottawa by a country-music superstar.”

Okay, Carrie Underwood is definitely a powerful force in the country music world, but to suggest that she has any sort of power in the hockey world is silly.

Meant to be a joke? Maybe. Not really very funny, though.
