Ashlee Simpson’s first priority after splitting from hubby Pete Wentz is to find a new house to call her own.
The singer-actress, 26, has been crashing at her parents’ place since her split Feb. 9. On Wednesday, Simpson was determined to change that as she went house-hunting in Beverly Hills.
“They drove by a few houses in the $3 to 4 million range,” the source tells Us. “Ashlee didn’t get out of the car and was quiet and subdued. At one point, she was going to get out of the car but when she saw photographers she decided to stay in the car and then went home.”
Of course, Simpson is looking for a home that is suitable for 2-year-old son Bronx.
